Reputation Basics for Individuals
Before I get into resolutions, I’d like to briefly go into my background in this area – even people who know me don’t realize that this is my most common application of my search skills. Plus you always want to make sure you’re not listening to an architect talking to you about how to cut hair, amirite?

We could be in a place, in ten years, where every small business just naturally assumes that it has to publish a quality multimedia publication every day simply to remain competitive.
Handling Reputation Breaches
First understand that a reputation breach is ANY incident that smudges the image you want to project of your company. These aren’t always originating from outside the company.
This happened last October. I’d previously decided not to blog about it. Then I realized that over the course of a year, Safeway lost about $20,000 from my household, and since I have such a huge extended family that I complained about this to, potentially five times that, even if half of them simply ignored me.
